pinion angle help

Default pinion angle help

i read a thing online that says take 4 mesuments.. i got all 4 mesuments.. the tranny is down 5* the front driveshaft is down 2.5* the rear driveshaft is up 5* and the rear end is up 5*.. maybe you can figure out what shims i would need cause i have no clue what to do from here.. i read what people where saying like 10 times and still got confused by it

Your tranny and diff need to be around 3* from each other.

basically, the angle of the output needs to be parallel with the angle of the pinion under load. with leaf suspensions, generally the rule of thumb is to set the static angle for the pinion about 3* down from parallel with the output shaft, because it tips up under load. under load, you want it too look like this:
