Want to put a desiel motoer in a chvy S-10 (1987). I found a mitisubishi 4 cyclinder desiel motor , does anyone have any ideas

 

do it, you will like the fuel mileage. it should be an easy swap. if its 2wd and you get a tranny with it, all you should have to do it line it up with some new motor mounts. new drive shaft also, but it shouldnt be an expensive swap if you can get the engine for a decent price

 

a guy brought in a jeep wagoneer with a 5.9 cummins into the shop a couple weeks ago and it was a cool setup. he was getting 30mpg and it was lifted.
