to me yes but the crew cab is much better. In the crew crab, you have just as much room in the back as you do in the front. I never had to sit in the back of my truck but it has a decent amount of room. I wanted the powerstroke but i got the 04 f350 lariat (leather) with 10,000 miles for $17,000. wasnt a scrath or dent on the truck. honestly. it looked like it was never driven.
I love the truck, if anything was to happen to the motor, im already looking into the powerstroke but i have heard a lot of problems from the 6.0l. I also have been looking at the cummins motor at fordcummins.com. But not everyone has problems with there motors. Everyone told me that i should be careful because the sparkplugs blowout. But i have a lot of friends with the same motor that havent had a problem.
i could go all day with the pros and cons

Some 6.0s are trouble-free, others have been in the shop every month. I would get the 7.3, they are the best diesel Ford has built. Why they switched to the 6.0 is beyond me. The only thing that was wrong one the 7.3 was the cam shaft position sensor (CMP). It was a common joke to keep one in your glove box because it would fail one time or another. They just came out with a recall though, and they will replace it for free with a newer one that isn't supposed to fail. I have also heard good things on the 6.4Ls.
@jkpa45, PM me more info on that.

Affected vehicles are identified in OASIS. In addition, for a list of vehicles assigned to your dealership,
visit https://web.fsavinlists.dealerconnection.com. This information will be available on December 04,
2007.
REASON FOR THIS SAFETY RECALLIn some of the affected vehicles, the Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor may fail due to circuit
degradation. If the CMP Sensor should fail, the engine may stall. In the event of an engine stall, a
crash could result without warning. A new CMP Sensor with improved reliability is now available.
SERVICE ACTIONDealers are to inspect the CMP Sensor to verify which design level sensor is installed in the affected
vehicles, and replace all prior level sensors. This service must be performed on affected vehicles at no
charge to the vehicle owner.
OWNER NOTIFICATION MAILING SCHEDULEParts to repair this condition are currently not available in sufficient quantities to service all of the
affected vehicles. Therefore, to ensure that an ample supply of parts is available, owners of affected
vehicles will be notified in separate phase mailings over several months. Phase mailing will begin the
week of December 17, 2007; prioritized by age of vehicle. Dealers should repair any affected vehicles
that arrive at their dealerships, whether or not the customer has received a letter.
