wrangler transfer case question?? and other commentary.
hey jeep guys..
i had a wrangler b4 , a while back but it was 4 cyl. soo i eventualy decided to part with it considering it had barely enough power to push 33's.
n e ways.. starting a new project that is also going to be daily driven.
picking up a 89 yj i-6 for reallly really cheap. The transfer case is shit and needs to be rebuilt or replaced soo first thing i need to know is what transfer case for a very cheap reasonable price used or new should i use with this set up.
5" spoa suspension
2" body lift
2' shackle lift
pushing 35 thornbirds(i kno not that big but im getting them for 300)
or should i just buy a used stock transfer case???
thnks for the long read repto thos who reply.

Personally, I'd go to a parts yard and see if you can't find a good used one. It would be the most economical choice and the stockers aren't too bad to begin with. Spend the rest of your money on some differential gears.
