3.4 Tacoma Supercharged swap
Well as if I don't have enough projects going I have started another one. I have a 1994 Toyota Pickup with a 22re that is slower than hell so I figured I'd help it out. I found a kit online to swap a Tacoma v-6 into it and a friend with a Tacoma and a Supercharger made me always want one any way so here is my start.
I took a 1998 wrecked Tacoma with 34k miles and yanked motor, trans, and transfer case from it. Then the motor was tore down and freshened up to accept a URD development supercharger boost kit with new injectors and a standalone FMU. On top sits a Brand new TRD Supercharger with a 10 psi VHR pulley and according to dyno records from URD I should make at least 350 to the wheels and still get 18 plus mpg. Not bad for a Supra tow rig huh? The motor swap might be post-poned until after March though since I just got a cheap Supra 6 speed combo and need to get my car going again. When the swap starts I will post pics.
As far as color's on the motor, The valve cover's and timing belt cover are House of Kolors Limetime green pearl and the oil pan is HOK Passion pearl. These are the same colors that I am painting the truck after the motor swap is done.

Crazy as in 200? I had a Turbo'd 22r with a 61mm on it in a 2wd truck only making 200 hp to the wheels and it had h beam rods, forged pistons, and fully balanced. It was fun but the motor will still have a/c and get 15+ mpg. I love 22r's for there reliablility but they suck in the power department.
