question about torsion bars?????

Default question about torsion bars?????

can you lift the front end of you truck a couple inches by adjusting the torsion bars?????????

I don't know. I have a solid axle truck. I would check another forum those types of trucks.

i think u need a torsion bar key, atlest on s-10s i believe and u jsut crank it up. mike

You can lift a Toy close to 1.5 inches just by tightening the torsion bolts...

and with a Nissan you can go 2". but I would not suggest it, it puts the front axels under a lot of strain. and they could break.

ok well i guess im just going to have to do a full lift kit cause i dont want to break anything thanks yall

Bigtruckin Sorry it took me so long to get back to you I will send you a PM tommorow on the prices of the tires. I have the 2.5" lift torsion keys with 2 front shocks for 399.00 installed at my shop. And that keeps your factory ride just cranking the torsions will stiffen it up..Rick
