Default weird noise jeep comanche

hey i was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have a 1989 jeep comanche with the I6 with 49,xxx miles on it. I was driving it the other day and all of a sudden i heard and felt a loud clunk. I now noticed that it only does it when i am turning and accelerating at the same time. One of my friends tells me that it could be the dif. I was just seeing if anyone had the same kind of problem with there truck before and if anyone could give me some things to look for to find out what it is. thanks cory

It's a common problem on Jeep's, and could be a number of things. First, I'd make sure all the nuts and bolts are tight on your steering components (track bar, pitman arm, etc.) Otherwise it could be a bad cv joint or bushing. Look for a torn rubber boot and/or excess amount of grease.
