Default New truck aka Big Red

Got a new truck last Friday, '96 F350 7.3 Turbo Diesel Crew Cab, long bed, 4X4. Doesn't exactly fit in the garage. The only mods are 3" open exhaust. I would like to hot rod it up a little. Possible intake, manual boost controller, and tuning. Anybody have experience with the Powerstroke and be willing to show me the secrets?

There are several free mods you can do, go to www.thedieselstop.com, select forums on the left to find them, a manual boost controller is not possible since the powerstroke turbos are n0t even wastegated. The simple mods include raising the fuel pressure in the regulator, getting rid of the electronic backpressure butterfly valve, larger downpipe and some form of a tuner, that is what I had on my 97, ran pretty good. Make sure you put in a bigger downpipe before you start fuckin around with tuners.

Those are the things I need to know.
I wish I would've asked questions like this 5 yrs ago when I was starting to tinker with my Camaro, but no I was stupid and I have a K&N replacement filter and a hypertech chip amongst other things collecting dust on the shelf now.
Appreciate the knowledge!
