Got a 1999 3.9 6cyl. dakota and was looking for the R/T truck without paying the R/T price. Anyone know how hard it would be to swap in a 5.9 in place of the 3.9? What would I need to do swap? For instance could I use stock motor mounts ? Any help would be usefull! Thanks

 

I would like to know as well, been wanting to add some kick ass to my new truck.

Not to highjack it, but how hard would it be to turbo my dak? Maybe 2 mitsu 14bs? rear mount turbo setup?

 

You will need all wiring harness' ecu mounts trans dash cluster possibly dash harness.
Turbo possible been looking at a customers 97 3.9 waiting on $ from him. STS style turbo most likely.
