Maybe the buyer was a dumbass... or maybe the seller was just really good. Either way, sounds like you made out like a bandit, especially with all that crap you had on it. I sold mine with Whipple supercharger, rims, Bassani, K&N, etc. and I don't figure I got a dime out of all that stuff. Next time I will let you sell it on commission.
