Try a supercharged S-Runner. They're about $23k brand new, and run mid 14's with good tires.

yeah it might have been a DX and yeah it also may have been an automatic but i still beat him

I'm pretty sure my V6 Tacoma 4x4 would beat a Civic even if my truck was stock. Mine has a TRD supercharger and I can beat my roomate's Audi A4 2.4L no problem.

 

I am pretty sure I can dust some civics, then again I am making roughly 400 hp and 700 ft lbs of tq..LOL

 

I have to agree with this one 110%.

I had a `99 Tacoma lifted 6" with 33" tires, TRD charger, custom 3" exhaust and a K&N filter. Traction was a minor issue.

I've beated some mustangs, 3 series BMs, civics, Racing Zone's Escalade, and several other unexpecting vehicles on the road.


You can get the supercharger off of ebay for around 1000, I know, I did

tacomas are kinda quick compared to a civic any ways. my friend had one dropped on 18s with intake and exhaust and it was alot of fun.

 

i think my truck could out do a stock civic....i mean 5.0 mustangs can so why can't i?

 

does that Prerunner package on tacomas come with a supercharger?

 

Basically the prerunner has a 4x4 suspension and tires without the extra two drive wheels. You can get it in a 4cyl or v6 but it does not come with the S/C. I believe you can buy it through the dealer though because it's a TRD item.
