Default airbags

i know this may not be the most popular topic... but i want some information on airbags for my frontier. now before you all flip out, listen to my reasoning here: i like lowered trucks (lowered, not scraping the road and showering the people behind them in sparks... BIG DIFFERENCE). i hate floating around turns and not being able to feel steering changes. i also like not having to take speed bumps at 2 mph, and being able to drive off road (on grass and shit, not talking about rock climbing or anything) and not having to worry about punching a hole in anything important. so airbags seem like the perfect solution to me (unless you guys have any better ideas?) naturally i'd still want some ground clearance with the bags deflated (2 inches or so) so i could actually drive. info? suggestions? cleaveland steamer?

I actually know 2 people that do it. My friend Gerald does it as a side job. He does good work. Then there's a guy on here TR name is "Civic11s" he also bags trucks and does custom work.

My bro has them on his F150, your still going to float around corners, have to go slow for speedbumps, etc. They are VERY floaty, hit a bump and its rough as hell. You bounce like you have cut springs. Also he's been through a few bags already. Really not something I'D like for everyday driving.

You might want to consider just a regular suspension drop. Try searching this forum for some info:

I'll second what was said above. Not only does the airbag suspension not help with floating and rough ride, you will be repairing or replacing something every 3000 miles..

Not worth it. Airbags were designed to 'look cool'.. they really don't serve that much of a purpose if you think about it. Just a modern version of hydraulics .

I personally like bags if done right. If you keep sway bars and shocks with 8 valves ride is much better. I just did Rob DeCranes blue flamed Navigator if you have seen it. He is usually at the beach or cruising. Don't get me wrong You can have problems but that comes with the Aftermarket scene. just my 2 cents.
