the crank shaft positioning sensor is not hard to fix, but hard to find. DO NOT get it from the dealer - Advanced Auto Parts carries it but it has to be ordered. Call the one on N. Dale Mabry - not only are they the nicest but they get everything MUCH faster than any other location - and they actually have brains unlike the other locations.

I had to buy one for my old sebring convertalbe and it was around $60. I got if from Discount Auto and it takes like 2-3 days to get. Like I said before, go to the one on N. Dale Mabry - they could probably get it to you next day as long as you order before like 3pm I think. 16209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy.; Tampa, FL 33618; 813-960-5950

Sorry i dont come to this forum often but yes it did get solved unfortunately we waited until the last possible sec on this thing.... so you guessed it today it finally died... it wouldnt turn back on and today it got stuck on himes in the middle of the intersection and i was pushing my g/f's car while she was steering it out of the way while a cop stoped and helped us push it to a little side street so then we call AAA and they came out and we took it to a place by the name of CAS and they fixed it.... it turned out to be the (CPS) as everyone said (FYI)--> (the lady that this is a cronic problem with these cars and she said it was a bitch to get to and the wiring was really too) so the part was 90 bucks plus labor so it wasnt that bad just glad to have it fixed finally but thanks a lot guys you were right and once again tampa racing owns when it comes to this sorta shit!
