I thought it was powdercoating at first, but I was toying around with the idea of doing it on aluminum valve covers. I'd be different and all. It keeps the original texture of the metal pretty much the same after doing it too, plus it actually makes the metal a little stronger. (Use the race RC Cars, all the nitro powered car chassis are anodized.)

i first saw the splatter on valve covers. i never thot it was powder tho.

we'll see wut happens

That paintball gun with the splatter design is acid wash. I know that for almost a fact. Whether or not it can be done with another method is up to whoever wants to try. To get that look though is acid wash.

Acid wash is a little different, it kinda fades in and out of the original color unlike the splatter design on the paintball gun. (the orange/red one)

Think You can Powdercoat a real 9mm Gun? Just what is visible on the outside of course?
