NASCAR has revealed the 2018 start times for all Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races. Noticeably absent are any 1 p.m. starts. Next year, all East Coast races will either start at 2 or 2:30 p.m. Night races have start times ranging from 6 to 8 p.m. ET.
"Feedback from our fans, along with insight from teams, tracks and our broadcast partners was key to identifying the most ideal start time for each race," said Steve Herbst, senior vice president, broadcasting and production at NASCAR. "Every race weekend is unique, so considering fan and industry input alongside each event's nuances allows us to balance interests on all sides."

The 2018 season starts with the 60th annual Daytona 500 on its traditional President's Day weekend. It again ends at Homestead-Miami Speedway with Ford Championship Weekend, with the playoffs kicking off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
