My hat is off to all the 10 sec civics. It was a great time and some really fast cars out there. I was waiting to see Jason break into the high 9's but didnt happen he was very close. And that K-series turbo hatch is just the sickness. Props to all you guys for coming out and representing for Honda, some serious money in those cars.

Had a good time till the last run . My clutch started slipping the first run. made 2 w/slipping clutch and let it sit while I helped the wife with the Trailblazer, which we got down to 13.32@105. Still got some tuning issues on it.
After letting clutch cool for several hours decided to try it. While waiting for the go ahead to pull into the burnout box, there was a BADASS! blue 66? Chevelle lined up with me. We got the wave to pull around so I started to when I heard a crunch! Several ppl were helping him get ready and one of them must've had his door up against mine. One of his buddy's handed my body molding to me as they worked on getting his door back on the hinges . Hope it's ok!
Clutch slipped while doing burnout, then suprise, pro tree clutch slipped badly till I gave up on it and coasted the rest. I then was pissed so I drove up on the trailer a "little" fast and ripped my exhaust off from the headers back.

Cliffs Notes: Last run= blue paint, missing molding and buckled body panel, shot clutch and exhaust laying on the trailer for the ride home

Thanks man. I am still working the bugs out on the tire combo. I haven't made any changes to the engine/turbo setup in 3 years. Just working tranny/clutch stuff. I also was working on the nitrous for the last few passes. I was hoping for 9's w/o the spray and it's so close. But I will have the spray working next time out to be certain it gets there.

Here is the best of the day, but not the best it's ran so far:

Props to Nchatch as well. His car ran a 10.68@123. Seriously low mph for a fwd car to run 10.68. Car needs some top end love and a 5 bar map sensor so he can turn up the boost.

Yeah it was a great trip, Jason and i have been trying to get down for a while and it was a spur of the moment deal and we were both actually able to have both cars ready and get off work.

as he said, my best was a 10.64, hitting boost cut before the traps, MPH was only 123, which is over 10mph less than i normally trap which is about 134-135 range.

had a great time guys

thanks
