As per member suggestion:
There will be FREE Do-It-Yourself Root Beer Floats at registration while they last!
and Ice cold bottled water for $1 donation. We are bringing in 96 pounds of ice for the drinks,
and I sure hope someone arrives thirsty! .......or I will have to drink 40 bottles of ICE COLD WATER and 60 cans of A&W Root Beer!......Burp... ...but not on site..... lol

We got some donated straws that look like small souvenir umbrellas for the Root Beer Floats, just like the beach drinks....and a bunch of spoons., napkins, etc.
We will do the ceremonial "pouring of the sand" at 11AM so bring some sand to registration.....no joke!

trying something different to see if the newsletter loads faster for you if we send it in two parts. (member discussion)

Thanks for coming out on September 17 2022. 43 people signed in and
about 60 to 80 people showed up to hang out, show their cars, and spectate. We guaranteed $25 for 50/50 club participation with no limits up or down on number of cars. We paid $61 to the winner and he made a generous donation to Keystone Motor Club. The first Red Ticket door prize was a collectible cast iron Fire Truck, and worth quite a bit on Ebay and other places.

43 people signed in and 60 to 80 stopped by to enjoy the car scene
with us. Let us know you are there by signing in, so we can put you and your car into our Keystone Motor Club History. You might also win a $25 Gift Certificate.

The Oldsmobile Car Club came in as a group, visited with us, addressed the crowd about their upcoming event, gave out their flyers and held their club meeting afterwards.

A lot of members seem to like the 442 engine, but Rick Whissel drove over a really nice Red 1934 Olds ...pic is in the attachments.

Any car club is welcome to promote your event at Keystone. When we know you are coming over, you also can tell us about your event at 11AM, just before we start the drawings for prizes and cash. Passing out about 40 flyers or so seems like a good number.

Sedona Gotsis and her dad Jim brought the Integrity Tire Junior Dragster over for display from Pasco County.

Mechiel and Kurt Kalbach drove over in a special edition Harley Davidson Ford F150 to operate both registration and the 50/50 club participation cash award.
Thank you to Team Kalbach for your generous donation and your time. It gave me time to talk to some of the members and Keystone listens to peoples suggestions. It was a member suggestion that we move registration about halfway between the North lot to shorten the walk for most people and the huge tree keeps the sun off everyone. Next we need a solution for a coffee sponsor at meetings.

benefit of the doubt ca$h payout$ to members, "let's make a deal" trophy or gift certificates, the definition of a Halloween Costume is...?
LOL....anything the person says it is.....lol.
The purpose is to have a good time and try not to exclude anyone.
Some personalities will go elaborate where they match their car color and
year with a period correct costume, including matching finger nails, and some personalities will
improvise the best they can, like John (Toga! Toga! ) Belushi in the movie Animal House. lol

If you ever watch any "Cos-play convention" youtube videos, they make creative
costumes of characters I never Heard of.....and you can too!

Early roll in is 930AM.for the best parking spots "Fashionably late" is too late.

Keystone Motor Club's Halloween Party! OCT 15 '22 part one

I was asked what are the "Requirements" to join the Keystone Motor Club.

If your "anything is welcome" vehicle has a Motor, you are IN! That's the only "rule" I remember.
We don't collect any dues. Put it in your gas tank. We meet 3rd Saturdays at 16921 Gunn Hwy, 33556 Odessa/Tampa Parking lots at Fox's Corner traffic light opposite the gas station.

Coming on NOV 12, a week before Keystones meeting on NOV 19, we will be supporting
Keystone Civic Association's Free Family Festival. AL Mavorah has attended meetings, and your show car will be welcome......we will have a tent set up with our display to provide shade for you at Keystone Recreation Center, 17928 Gunn Highway, Odessa, FL 33556 Roll in around 9-10AM until we hear differently. They expect 4,000 visitors.

We are the most laid back easy going car club there is.
Where we meet there are retirees and farmers plus some people who cashed out their 401K and bought the car they always wanted in high school...... and now they like hanging out with us. 30 people signed in to get the Free Blue Ticket Gift Certificate and 60 to 80 showed up just to hang out with us. It was a great day!

Real car folks don't care what you drive and we don't tell people what to do.
We had around 30+ people sign in today, but about 60-80 drove over and hung out with us and BS' ed about cars. We don't charge for the car show, and just signing in for the Free Blue Ticket won a person a $25 gift certificate, Paul Lutgen won the 19" Best of Show Trophy, then gave it to the Camaro next to him.We drew names for what we gave away, and you didn't have to spend hours polishing the car for the Herb and Carol Memorial Car Show.......unless you wanted to.... lol We gave away a $50 collectible carved wooden car as Grand Door Prize..

If people bought one or more red tickets today for the 50/50 club participation award, and
if they wore a Halloween costume of any kind, they got a second red ticket free.
But only if they wanted to. We paid the teenage owner of the Junior Dragster $79.

She carried a helmet as a costume. A costume was so loosely defined that if a white guy wore sunglasses, he could claim that he was Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder. If someone wore a Mopar hat he came as Don Garlits. If someone's T-shirt said "streetside classics" (a real company), he came as a "salesman" for streetside classics.... lol

There will be classic 50's, 60's and antique cars on display plus a junior dragster driver signing autographs. You can have your family's picture taken together with any of our cars.
