No company knows fuel systems like Holley.
Holley Performance, a major contingency partner of the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), has been the undisputed leader in fuel systems for more than a century, providing carburetors for IHRA, NHRA and NASCAR teams for more than four decades. Holley's products include performance fuel pumps, intake manifolds and engine dress-up products for street performance, race and marine applications.

It all began in the late 1800s with two brothers George and Earl Holley from Bradford, Pennsylvania – teenage boys who learned how to make patterns and castings so they could build a one-cylinder engine. That engine was put onto a three-wheeled vehicle that hit an impressive 30mph. That led to motorized bicycles, a four-wheeled automobile called the Holley Motorette and the birth of the Holley Motor Company.


In 1903, at the urging of Henry Ford, the Holley brothers entered the carburetor business and became industry leaders in fuel-system technology. A century later in 2003, Holley was recognized as one of four original suppliers still selling to Ford Motor Company. The company business continued to expand through the World War I and World War II eras. It could be said that Holley directly helped win World War II, as about half the carburetors used in the war effort bore the Holley name.


Holley fuel systems were on everything from Variable Venturi carburetors on the DC-3 airplane to Packard-powered PT boats to the B-25s used in Jimmy Doolittle's air raid on Tokyo. Following the war, Holley concentrated on keeping up with the requirements of automobile manufacturers who, in turn, were trying to keep up with the demands of a car-hungry public. Holley also began supplying repair parts to service stations and garages.


Today, Holley manufactures high-performance carburetors, manifolds, superchargers, water pumps, throttle body fuel injection and fuel pumps for street and race applications. In producing these parts, Holley prides itself in utilizing the latest technology in a lean environment to provide the highest-quality parts at the best value to the customer.
MSD, part of the Holley Performance family of brands, is also a major contingency sponsor of the IHRA. Founded in 1970, MSD is one of the most recognized industry names in ignition-system products, EFI products and high-performance parts. The company designs, develops, tests and assembles its entire line of ignition boxes, crank triggers, distributors, EFI systems, transmission controllers, spark plugs, coils, spark plug wires and other performance parts from its headquarters in El Paso, Texas.


Since its inception in 1998, Quick Fuel Technology – another part of Holley Performance and major IHRA contingency sponsor – has grown exponentially, culminating into the benchmark by which performance carburetors are measured. Quick Fuel continues to develop new products to stay on the forefront of innovation. Over the years, Quick Fuel Technology has made considerable strides to become a stand-alone carburetor manufacturer. This increase in efficiency and capability has allowed Quick Fuel to continuously upgrade its products while keeping prices low.


In 2005, Quick Fuel Technology introduced its Super Street line of carburetors. This application-specific line catered to the enthusiast that wanted the best carburetor for the money while refusing to compromise street manners. In 2009, Quick Fuel Technology launched the QFX-Series; each carburetor is individually hand-assembled and engine-tested.


The current decade was the beginning of a new era for Quick Fuel Technology with the introduction of two new carburetor series in 2010 - RaceQ is the ultimate small-flange drag race carburetor. The Hot Rod series carburetor is the answer to the needs of street machines everywhere; from muscle cars to street rods, the HR Series is the most affordable and tunable carburetor on the market today.
