The FIRM Drivers Club

Did you hear the news? It's the perk everyone has been waiting for; no more getting up before sunrise just to make the Drivers' Meeting. Sleep in, get a nice breakfast, and then head out to the track. If you only want to show up in the afternoon, that's fine too. It's just one privilege of being a Drivers Club Fast Pass member.

Members qualify with just three easy steps:

• Attend at least 5 Open Track Days Drivers Meetings at The FIRM.
• Complete and return a notarized Annual Waiver
• Check-in at the gate with a completed tech inspection form, display The FIRM RED tech inspection sticker on your windshield, and your 2020 inspection on your helmet.

Get ready for a Rally-X event like no other. Mark your calendars, and get registered while there is still space! Asphalt, woods, gravel, maybe even a little water, and a jump! Our own Bryn Walters is planning a rally stage for everyone. 2WD, AWD, SxS. There will be something for everyone; novice and expert alike!

Welcome to The FIRM Extreme Rally-X!

Registration is $125. Register before May 7th and save $25.

Open to 2WD and AWD cars as well as Side by Sides.

Cars:

• Helmets must be SA-2010 or 2015
• Convertibles must have hard tops and roll bars
• Full cage required if you plan to have a passenger/co-driver

Side-by-Sides:

• Helmets must be full face. Motorcycle (M Rated) or SA-2010/2015
• Full Roll Cage required
• 4, 5, or 6pt Harness required
• Wrist restraint or window nets required.

Rally-X Schedule (subject to change)

• 7:00 a.m. Gates Open*
• 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Vehicle tech
• 8:30 a.m. Mandatory Drivers Meeting
• 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Stages Hot
• 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Stages Closed for Lunch
• 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Stages Hot
• 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. Awards
• 5:30 p.m. - Gates Close

*The schedule is subject to change. The FIRM may suspend or cancel operations if severe weather is in the area.

Rally-X is Open to all properly equipped cars and side-by-sides/UTVs.

• A SA-2010 or newer helmet is REQUIRED for all car drivers!! Motorcycle helmets are acceptable for Side-by-Sides only.
• Entry is PER DRIVER and CO-DRIVER for a single class. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.
• If you are unable to attend, we regret not being able to offer refunds.
• Event is run RAIN or SHINE!
• Drivers must wear a helmet and seat belt or safety harness at all times while on course.
• Side by Side drivers and co-drivers must have arm restraints or window nets
• Side by Sides must have full roll cages
• Natural fiber long-sleeve shirt is recommended. Long pants and closed toed shoes are required!
• Convertibles are allowed only with approved roll over protection and hardtops in place.
• All drivers must be over 18 and have valid driver’s license.
• The FIRM reserves the right to refuse access to the course to anyone at anytime.
• We will be following SCCA Rallycross rules with minor changes, most notably the helmet requirements. Please contact us if you have specific questions.

$1500 Track Rental Special

While racing events have been canceled and postponed, that doesn't mean testing has to end. Practicing social distancing while testing is easily accomplished. We have temporarily lowered our weekday rental rate to $1500, Monday - Thursday. Open for teams and small groups.

The Time is Now!

Our timing system is installed and ready for use! Now when you register for an Open Track Day, you have the option to rent a transponder (or use your won) for the most accurate lap timing possible!

Want to know how well you improve lap to lap, or just how much faster you are than your buddies? Rent a transponder, toss it in your glove box, and check your lap times after your session. While you are on track, your lap times are available online for everyone to see - and be jealous of!

The track is open this weekend - we are all practicing social distancing while getting our track time in.

Rally-X this weekend

There's still time to Register!

May 30th - This Saturday - is the Rally-X event of the year! Don't miss out! We have registrations from full-on stage rally cars, to a couple of guys who are buying $500 Gambler style cars to participate.

Come out, get some seat time in the dirt (and tarmac!), and have a blast with everyone else! If you aren't sure about it, at least come out and spectate and see what you are missing out on.
