Need install and tune on Stand-Alone ECU, Boost Pulleys, etc..
I'm looking for a shop that can evaulate my needs and help me to decide what is a good direction to go for my car. I'm looking to keep it a daily driver, but, of course, more power is more fun.
This is what I have, As far as the power goes:
'03 350Z Auto
Vortech Supercharger @ 8 lbs (Stock)
Nismo Headers
Nismo Exhuast
Crawford Intake Plenum
Stillen Test Pipes
What happens is the car becomes running too rich, and destroys the mass air flow sensor and eventually the computer to where it barely runs, or doesn't run at all. I did some research and I was considering the following:
-Larger Injectors
-2.87" Boost Pulley
-Stand-Alone ECU (Greddy E-Manage Ultimate with Specific Wire Harness)
-Dyno Tune
I dont' know what it would take to make this thing work, but something has to be done. I've made too many a trip to nissan to get ripped off and to only put stock parts back on. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think larger injectors is a good solution. Your problem now is you're running too rich meaning you have enough fuel, why add bigger injectors and complicate things even more without a good tune? I would suggest either going with some type of EMS if you can afford it or at least a good piggy-back like an s-afc. How positive are you that you are running rich? Has the car ever been on the dyno or had a wideband hooked up?
I honestly think a good tune is all you need. More power is fun but it sounds like you're missing out on a lot of it already. If the car is running so rich it's killing the MAF as you say then you're going to pick up a lot of power when you get the car tuned properly and leaned out to normal a/f's.

I figured larger injectors to cover the increase in boost...keep the engine within limitation. A tune is what I thought too, where locally could somebody do that?

The only reason I said no to the bigger injectors is, like I said earlier, I think that a really solid tune will be fine for the power you are making now. I'm not sure what injectors come stock on the 350z but I'm sure if the car is running very rich right now and the injectors aren't anywhere close to 100% duty cycle they'll be fine. Later on when you throw on the bigger pulley you might want to look into larger injectors. Since you want to keep your car as DD friendly as possible I wouldn't look to go to anything too monster(550cc's maybe). Anything over that and you have to have a really good tune/tuner(see next paragraph) to get them to drive like stock. Do you know what your A/F's are like right now?
I am very bias when it comes to who touches my cars. I really only trust Martin at XAT to do any of my tune work. He's been doing it for probably as long as I've been alive(hope he doesn't take that the wrong way! LOL). He's got multiple 500+hp cars that get the crap beat out of them on a regular basis and are still running like champs. Give XAT Racing a call and see if you can't set something up or even swing by there. They're great guys and a riot to be around. Tell them that some loser named Silver Moss sent you!
