Default 3sgte parts

Does anybody know if the lifters and camshafts from a 3sgte engine will work for a 5sfe engine. If not does anybody know how i could make my 5sfe heads handle a nice amount of boost?

5SFE is a single cam, the camshafts from a 3SGTE will not work, they are for a twin cam. You could in a 3SGTE head, but you will need a stand alone to run it. Speaking of which, I have one for sale

The 5sfe head is strong, but as far as flow, it is not too good. There are a few companies out there that make cams for it, but why bother.

Actually the 5sfe is a twin cam with 16 valves on a 92 camry, and since i got a 3sgte head just laying in the garage i thought i might use the 3sgte cams and lifters for my 5sfe head and what exactly do you mean by stand alone?.
