Into a 96 isn't that hard . I belive it uses the same mounts . The tranny may have issues with holding the power as I dont know about an MR2 Turbo tranny bolting right in with perfect use of the axles from the 2 .

Your looking at probally 1k for a good motor/tranny/harness . This is a 91 3S . A 93 or newer is going to run more because of the better tranny better port flow in the head .

For a full swap I would say look at 3K or maybe a little more . It has been done I know that . I have seen a 3S with 450FWHP in a Camry with a GT30 and FMIC , Standalone .

93 and 91 head are of the same port design. Its not that hard of a swap, just teh axles will be an issue. You will more than likley need all trac axles. Wiring will be your hardest issue. Mechanical is no sweat...

no... only the 3sgte is worth it.. and in your car my recommendation is to just buy an MR2 as a race car (if u want a 3SGTE) and keep your speed seperate from your daily driver.
