the 93up supra is called the MkIV on the net. meaning mark 4 or the 4th generation. there accual chassis code is JZA80,
there was never a single turbo mkiv supra. the older mk3, ma70 supras came single turbo look at my sig pic.

but taking your past posts into consiceration you can not afford a mkiv supra na or TT. you could possably afford a mk3 supra tho.

what do you currently drive? also how old are you?

no its not taka.
The mkiv is a good 200lbs lighter then the mk3 stock for stock.
mk3 3468 vs mk4 3215 im not really sure how accurate those numbers are but they are close.
the mk3 was the heavest of all supras.
the mk3 is a sports touring car, in the techie gadget era.
it had 8 way eletric adjustable seats, heated seats where avalable from northern cars, extra thick tar insulation, TEMS system (3 way adjustable syspention) tho the shocks are 6 or 8 way adjsutable. the motors only have 3 positions tho.
Super computer, not a teraflop computer, but a trip meter with some extra functions. not that this matters in weight but its a good example of the extra bull shit the mk3 can have.

the mk4 on the other had did not come with overly heavy seats, it came with hollow fiber carpet. Alu. suspentuion links. no hood struts just a support bar, much lighter hood, no neat computerized suspention or trip meter, and a few chassis redesigneds spicificly geared twored better stiffness and weight removal, its more of a pure sports car then a sports touring car.

its not hard to get a mk3 down to the mk4 weight but getting beond that starts costing money race seats make a big diffrentce, carbon hood, carbon side rear glass replacments. bumper removal is a big saver, taking out the abs (it sucks anyways) remove the tems. remove all the tar,

I dont think he realizes just how expensive the mkiv's really are. Plus if anything ever goes wrong its more expensive than most any car to fix and insurance will rape you if your young. Like he already said.....how old are you? BTW: if you dont mind me asking...how much are you looking to spend? More then likely you could afford an MKIII supra which are still nice cars and can still be made fast.
