sounds to me like this guy stepped in way over his head... hes gonna need large injectors 600-800 dollars for msd 95lbs.. aeromotive FPR.. 150... SX filter.. 100.. wallburro 255 high flow pump... 110.. standalone 1500-2500.. Clutch.. 250... the turbo will be 1500 or so... intake manifold 500-1000... exhaust manifold 500-1000 or so... intercooler and piping 1000 or so.... extra 1/2 shafts for when u break them 200-500 or just buy strong ass ones for the same.. extra tranny for when u break it.. 500... Extra Diff for when u break it.... 200.... Tuning....i dunno lots.. and this dosent count labor.. i hope this dude has about 15 grand to drop cause its close to that

ya i dont really think he has a jun stroker kit. ide like to see this before believeing it. then i'll just say i coulda made the same thing for 1/3 the cost.
I'm not trying to dog the guy, but why get a japanese motor swap if you are just gonna tare it down to build it with a stroker kit? ..and like I said before it would cost $3000 total to buy and build a 2.3l bottom end with a 5SFE bottom end with custom everything, balanced and knife-edged crank, the works. The bare-minimum jun motor would cost:

$500 3SGTE bottom end
$400 balanced and knife edged crank
$200 water and oil pump (new)
$300 Stopper style head gasket
$125 ARP Headstuds
+ labor ($1500)
Now you can leave the head stock, but why would you?

You say you don't want to buy stuff you don't need huh? You don't need a jun stroker kit. That would save you a bunch of money right there. The only thing you will need, to keep the engine reliable, is pistons and rods. a TD06 is not going to make the power levels you want. Bottom line.

haha mark i found a flaw! you list the big wheels cuz they fit over the big brakes then you list the 93+ 15" wheels in a list below! cant have both

and shooting for 400whp doesnt require a 2.2L stroker kit, nor even a built block! it seems making 400whp on a stock 3s motor is ALOT easier than a few years ago when 300 and 350 were thought to be high for the streets lol!
