Default celica idea?

what does everybody think of this idea
well it is convert the nonfunctional hood on the celica and convert it into something off the concept of the wrx this is only applicable if u are planning to do a turbo and have the intercooler there like on the wrx
what does everybody think of this? is it possible

im thinking he is talking about the new body celica. and no matter what you do its better to put the intercooler in the bumper not the top of the engine. as for a working scoop thats up to your immagination and skills, but if you have to ask im assuming you will have to take blan b, pay someone else for there immagination and skill.

well if you have one and have the money to do it right you can build it fast. compression ratio is not somthing thats unchangable.

i almost find it funny how people think that somthing is so simple to do on a civic is so hard to do on a celica. really the ZZ motors are way stronger then any honda motor.
it would be cheaper to build a turbo 1zz or 2zz then it would be to build a B series turbo motor.

No block guard needed, no sleves needed. comes stock with a baring gurdle. what more could you ask for?

for starters... money lol

but yeah you're right, the ZZ motor is pretty strong. Some boosting 1zz are getting numbers of 220hp to the wheels.

and a turbo 2zz got 263 hp and 180lbs on the dyno with the XS turbo running 7psi.
