well i finally got my new turbo motor in!!
i runs just too cool!! i spent in all about 1500 on the whole swap,
i bought the actual motor for 750 with almost everything. thanks to james and carlos i got all the little stuff taken care of. i pu a new water pump on it, new timing belt and other belts, new head gasket, a few other gaskets, type h RFL BOV! and a bunch of oter shit which the destroyed when pulling the motor out of the junk yard. now the thing is, i got a n/a tranny on a turbo motor. what happened was that the turbo clutch disk does not fit the n/a tranny, so we used a non turbo clutch disk which is 1 inch smaller then the turbo one, but we used a turbo plywheel and a turbo pressure plat. trust me te turbo disk does not work, it screwed up my tranny shaft. well i have to say that it was well well well worth the money,
we spent 6 weeks with the street f/x gang putting it together as well as working on an another mr2. keep in mind we had no lift, no airtools..ect, just regular basic shit.

Glad to hear that you got our mr2 running right.i'll be taking my engine out here soon,then i can start my rebuild when i get time away from fixing everyone elses cars .and And Do Not!! take your wing off lol.later bro

 

"Edit"My last post.lol i thought you were talking about removing a stock 3pc mr2 wing.but come to find out you have an aluminum wing on it,get a 3pc mr2 wing, they look pretty good,but i voted to each his own in the other post later
