Well i finally have time to tear into this bitch.

Not a whole lot of progress for today, but this is more about saving the 1uz in it.

Car has 180xxx miles, and a shit ton of problems. it idles fine in P & N but as soon as it gets put into any gear it starts to drop cylinders.

Next thing i'm going to test is fuel pump and the voltage that it's getting. As for goals, i want to get this piece running properly 1st. All required Maintenance will be complete before it get's to touch the road.

MLS Head gaskets,Water pump, belts, etc.

Once that is complete the interior will be Restored 100% oem except for the radio. Wheels and paint of course later on. Hope you enjoy the progress that I am or am not making

Good luck to you! Looks much like the Supra I just bought and I'm working on. Horrible body kit and a few mechanical issues and a horrible paint job, I actually think your paint is in better condition than mine LOL. thanks a lot. We pulled codes today, and all we got was 78 so we did the bypass and still nothing. it has to be something power related, because when i turn the wheel ( while driving) the engine starts to bog down. Any ideas?

 

I learned with mine that even though Advanced said the battery was good it wasn't. I took it to AutoZone and they did a full charge and then attempted to load test it and from the charger to the front counter it lost 37% battery. A friend of mine let me borrow his RedTop and it started right up for the first time since I've owned it actually. Try another battery and check your grounds.
