lol, a girlie that loves boost, who can complain. Hope everything works out for this SCS though.

So we got things disassembled to prepare for the machine shop so this is what we found:

The damage was consistent with pre-ignition:
& some detonation i.e blown headgasket

holy shit, it blew in-between ever cyl!!! hahhaha shitty tune to say the least. i know hybrid will take care of all the issues!!

 

So fast forwarding some time..we continued with the disassembly was able to take a spare GE engine we had laying around freshen it up and get thing back in order..

Factory 2jz-ge Ajusa gasket set very good quality & driftmotion TT headgasket also very good quality was used to keep things sealed tight.



Cleavite/Mahle was used to freshen up the internals:
