Default 93 MR2 engine for sale

wrong forum, but figured it would get more of the correct traffic here.

guy at my work asked me to spread the word for him. interested parties should e-mail me, and I will put you in contact with him.

he's selling basically a complete engine. 2.0 turbo ported head, sheetmetal intake manifold, built bottom end (forged pistons/rods, built to handle 30 psi from a good sized turbo) everything except the turbo and may not include exhaust manifold either. engine has 25 passes on it. was built for a puerto rican race team, and sold to Flor ( guy I work with) to be used in a starlet, which is now a rotary project.

he's asking $2,000.00

Does this happen to be, Serano's motor? (tropical heat?) I am interested, need a motor for my 87 mr2. Are the manifolds oriented for longitudal mounted motors?

I think that is who he said. He said they go to bradenton a lot. I can send you pictures of the head and intake manifold I took at work. they will be grainy (cheap digi cam) but you can get the general idea from them. pm me with your e-mail.

it's a serano built engine. Flor said he (serano) can give you all the information about it. did you get the pictures of the head and intake manifold I sent?
