Default finding parts and mechanic

I've been having trouble the proper clip and a reputable mechanic that won't charge any less than 2k for the install. 2k just for labor is outrageous! And I'm to the point of just putting in 2nd Gen JDM swap instead of a 3rd gen because the 3rd gen is so hard to find. But I'm having trouble finding then entire clip for either one. I can find the long block but not the entire clip.

We charge "roughly" 1200 for the 2nd gen swap if you have all the harnesses, also includes fuel pump install. (you supply the pump) 1500 for a swap without a body harness. Trust me its sux without it. Adds alot of extra time...

Default hmmmm..........

I was hopin for a 3rd gen swap but if I have to then I will settle for a 2nd gen. And would it be easier if I just picked up a 91 turbo and rebuild everything? I saw a white turbo for sale on xcars for 4900. So taking into account my 9500 money cap do you think its better to get a 3500 NA and do a JDM turbo conversion or a full rebuild?
