any common mr2 steering issues?
have any of you guys dealt with the electric power steering on an mr2? Its intermitent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt . i cant get any acuarate wiring diagrams for this. Its a 91 mr2 turbo

I know in the 87-89s there were a few problems with the rack. an inner part was getting loose and rattling around causing damage. nothing serious though. just very annoying at higher speeds.

its probably your relay under the frunk. try turning you key to the on position then back to off before you start the car about 15 times.....see if it comes on. the relay is most likely what is going bad.....its like 189.00 dollars at toyota or if you research the mr2oc there is a 10 dollar diy relay.....real easy to do. make sure your fluid is full too! lol
