Default E-brake stalls MR2

It's a long drawn out description, so I'll shorten it. I changed the fuel pump on my car. It starts fine, but when I release the e-brake, it stalls. Trust me NO wires are crossed, NO cables are crossed, EVERYTHING is hooked up correctly. I think there's a short or something grabbing somewhere. I've looked and looked. Something must not be fully in it's correct orientation, or a wire is exposed. I can't figure it out. If someone wants to come and fix this for me, I'd be glad to pay them. Do not post remedies to this problem. I'm not going to get under the car anymore. It has drained me trying to figure it out. Never had this problem before I dropped the tank. If you want to make some $ TODAY (depending on the amount of work and EFFORT), PM me. I need someone that KNOWS what they are doing. Not some ricer, or red-neck mechanic that knows everything about carbed Chevy trucks. I need someone that is familiar with the blacktop engine and MR2's. Pay will be in cash, and will be discussed prior to arrival by PM.

1987 MR2, 5spd, blacktop conversion. I live across from USF

its got a turbo timer in it somewhere hooked up to the ebrake switch, or someone used the ebrake ground circuit for an engine function. only 2 logical explanations
