Default 2nd gear

Okay, I was driving down the road i shifted from 1st to 2nd and braked the car jerked and made an metal clinging sound. Right after that I put the car into the neutral. What does that mean? Should I be worry about transmission cause I'm kinda concerned about that. Thanks

It's still under warranty.

Bring it to the dealer and tell them it's making a funny noise (describe the noise) and ask them to check it out.

Xch1nk when you shifted from 1st to 2nd did you grind the gears while also trying to break ? Did you ride the clutch ?? What exactly did the noise sound like?? Few questions you need to answer.

1. What type of noise did the tranny make when you were shifting through the gears.

2. After you put the car into neutral did you have the car towed back home or did you drive the car back home? If you drove the car back home did it happen again?
