Default Toyota Turbo: 88 Toyota Celica???

I just pulled this turbo off of an 88 Toyota Celica FWD.

Its definitely OEM Toyota and appears to be in excellent condition.

I'm assuming the previous owner sourced this from a JDM importer or from a turbo mr2.

Any help identifying it would be great.

Also, its for sale. Make me an offer.

Thanks, Chet

was it fwd or awd? they made alltracs in 88 that were awd turbo. turbo looks like a ct26 but has a smaller turbine housing and also a smaller compressor wheel as i recall. i know for sure the turbine housing is smaller as i have one at home.

Car that it came out of was FWD and probably began life as a non-turbo model.

ct26 is a pretty standard across the board turbo for that generation. They are ok for an oem turbo.

looks like your standard alltrac 3sgte ct26 to me. it might have a bigger wheel in it.
