Question 90 n/a hardtop engine swap

i have a 90 n/a hardtop. i want to swap to a turbo engine (7mgte, 1jz, 2jz)but im unsure what one to use and have lots of questions. i want a really fast supra with rediculous amounts of power but on a limited buget. ive found all three engine on ebay n craigslist for pretty cheap.

1-which engine is cheap to build but very reliable?
2-will i need to change motor mounts, trans mount, drive shaft?
3-which is easiest to swap? im also wondering about all of the under hood connections? (vacume line, electrical, gas lines, various hoses)
4-any special tools needed, i have the basics but anything else?

Go with a 1jz. The 7mgte is prone for a blown headgasket, and the 2jz is going to require firewall mods, etc. The 1jz is perfect and with a small single upgrade 400 500 hp is realistic and price affordable.

2jz=2JZ-GE N/A-T, or a 2JZ-GTE, you will need a 1JZ bellhousing, wiring knowledge, R154 tranny or the A30D auto or w/e its called. If you go with the GTE, you need to pound the firewall towards the back of the car to make the stock twins fit. Imo you should go single turbo with the 2JZ. The 7m is a good motor, if you plan on making power with it, you WILL need a Metal Headgasket on it with ARP STUDS. The 1JZ is ONLY worth it, if you buy a complete swap most likely from a jdm importer. This way you will save a bit of money over the 2JZ.

???? is the 7m still prone to a bhg if its modified? like new studs n head gasket?
and are there any vacume lines or electrical modifications that need to be dealt with in the 1jz swap?
AND thank you for all the advice.

your completely wrong. 2jzs fit just like 1jz's there just about an inch taller, and there are no clearance issues/

7m is NOT a good motor, headgasket issues are an easy fix, but the oiling system still sucks, and they cost as much as a 1jz. i miss my 7m, but i'd never go back, ever ever ever.

1jz's can use R154's w58's a304e, or v160 transmissions you just need the right oem bellhousing.

i had clearance issues with my last one. anywho 1jz, and a 7m with arps and MHG will last you a while if its maintained regularly.

The oiling system can be fixed easily, get a nice cooler, shim the spring, and fill it to 7-8 quarts, the 7m can hold 9 quarts in it.
