Default 1JZ Timing Help

I got a quick question i just got my 1J and looking to change the water pump. For those of you who have done it how hard it is? I really did not want to mess around with getting out the crank pulley and timing but i really need to change the water pump. My other question is if its worth changing the timing belt and was wondering if its easy to mess up the timing by doing that... and how hard is also to change the cam gears as i was thinking of also doing a clear cover and putting some better cam gears as well... just waned a little insider info about the job im about to do. Thanks

its really not hard at all to change the water pump. Yes its worth changing the timing bellt, but it is very easy to mess up the timing if youve never done it before. Personally i wouldnt buy aftermarket cam gears unless you have quite a few other mods first. if you do get cam gears i'll reccomend anything but HKS (they tend to wear quickly)

Thank you, the reason why I waned to change the cam gears is because looking to get that clear cover for it and i dont waned to have just stock cams and a greddy belt... it just dont look right lol. Thanks
