well, still havent gotten my tax return yet, so not much has been done. i had sandblasted the blue anodizing off the top of the wastegate months ago. well 2 weeks ago i got bored and finished polishing the top. heres the pics.

actually its an xo2 wastegate i got for cheap. just a tial knockoff but itll wor for now. what sucks is id like to leave everything as is, ut itll be too much heat in the bay. so the turbine housing and header will prolly get black heat coated and then ill wrap the manifold as well. need to weld an egt bung in it first though. ill do that when i have the rest of the stuff for my tig.

Would you buy a DaeWoo brand new? No cause it fucking sucks and breaks. Would you buy a blow up doll thats "just as good as the real thing" but gets a hole every once and awhile? Do you see the pattern? If not keep buying cheap knockoff parts, this way lame company's like Greddy, Apexi, etc can go out of business cause you wanted to save 50$

well actually im going to make my own turbo mainfold. the plan is to buy a s366 with a 1.01 a/r tangical turbine housing and then make a twin scroll manifold out of 304ss weld els and use 2 44mm tial knockoff wastegates. this setup is for my gt4082 which will be sold once i finish the other setup. ive had a tial knockoff bov on the car for over a year now. works the exact same as a real tial. you can badmouth the parts ive bought all you want, i dont care. simple fact is its my car and my money, so ill do with them as i please. and if you want to talk about saving money, i saved ~$300 with this wastegate and $1k+ with the manifold. and when i make the twin scroll manifold myself ill be saving ~$2k. price a "fullrace" twinscroll turbo manifold for a supra. ~$2600 last i checked.
