A friend of mine was hanging out at my apartment last night and had his Scion stolen from the parking lot between the hours of 4 and 8 Saturday morning. If anyone has seen a '08 Charcoal Scion Tc with altezza style tail lights and a moon roof. If anyone has ANY information it will be greatly appreciated. The last six of the VIN is 245373. Please PM me on here. There is 200 bucks in store if your lead gets the vehicle back and/ or the culprit incarcerated. Thank you TR... Don't let me down!!!

Yeah I have no clue who would've stolen it. I will get a picture up as soon as my friend emails it to me. And it had to have been towed as it's a coded key. The other thing with it being repossessed is that the towing company has 12 hours to report that they took the vehicle since most people would think it's stolen when they come out and there is no car there. None of the police departments were notified of the vehicle being repo'ed.

 

id bet money that it was towed. you said he was at your apartments, not his, and it was 4-8am, typical towing hours. call the office of your appartment and ask what tow company tows unauthorized vehicles. then call that tow company to find out how much he has to pay to get it out of impound.

 

Trust me, I wouldn't have posted on here if it had been found that easily. We don't have stickers or real strict parking regulations. Plus, he wasn't parked in a spot that was illegal. Also, a front wheel drive car parked front first in a parking spot requires a lot more effort to take than a truck with shifter linkage underneath and expensive shit inside it. Someone wanted this car and stole it, bottom line. As you can see from my post count I'm not just a post whore that feels the need to post everything and anything on here or any other forum.

 

good luck. prolly a joy ride cause ive never heard of a need for parts like the honda boys. maybe he will get lucky and it wont be fucked up when he gets it back.

Exactly. That's what we are hoping for, but it's been over 72 hours now and still no news. I've been looking around the area when I've been out running errands for the shop but no luck. My question is how did they get around the coded key?
