Are there any good ones in the Tampa Bay area? I know XAT had Ryan and Sean back in the day but they've been gone. Most shops normally work on Hondas, Nissan and Subys.

There's a place called Toy House off US 301 that says they are a dealer alternative. I have no personal experience with them. I am not a shop, but if you are looking for swap service, or bolt on part installation, etc, I can help. I mainly work on MR2s, but I have worked on an Alltrac before.

 

Tip Top Toys in Clearwater worked on my supra a couple times. The master tech Wayne is definitely a good guy and specializes in Toyota.

Would recommend them to anyone in Tampa. They have done work on my 1j Cressida a handfull of times and always exceptional service.

 

I don't know about them. Granted they can build great cars (Supras). I'm pretty sure if I showed up with my little 3s swapped Celica, I'm just going to get under minded even worse than the MR2 guys that show up. I've heard stories about them not really giving a shit about your car unless you drive something with a 1j/2j. That's just what I heard. It's you're typical MKIV cocky mentality

 

new import wont treat you like that at all. ask for ramon he has experience with 3sgte. ive heard people talk shit about them but every time i go their ive never had a problem. they installed my microtech and i havent had any problems since.
