20R into ae86 rolla
You could take a pinto engine and put it in a 65 mustang fastback.. but then we'd call you stumpy.
So you didnt get any buyers for that 20r? if not ill pick it up around tax time.

haha no way man dont swap a 20r their lng term engines but they are not good for performance if you are going to do that u might as well do a hybrid or 20r head and 22r block slap on the efi and a mk4 turbo with the w58 tranny and youll be good for power and torque ... if well built itll last and the blocks are strong especially if you get the factory forged internals .... if not get the 22rte and boost the shit out of it their cheap as hell to and you have some aftermarket support like lcengineering.com they might be able to help you out .... if you do do it post it up it be interesting
20r is just as capable as a 4a... but honestly either is a waste of time. if your going to do a custom swap, why not put a real motor in it like a 3s.
22r there is no such thing as toyota factory forged internals... in any motor they make.
and a 22rte is the same thing as a normal 22r just with a stronger block (not internals, just the block) in which case doesnt matter, because your not ever going to crack a 22r sleave without taking everything with it. and there also HORRIBLY low compression.
please 22r, dont spread misinformation, there is enough of that on the internet.
also lcengineering is horribly overpriced. although they do sell many quality components.
take it from a guy who's spent thousands on 22r's before... and only ended up with 214 wheel. it IS NOT WORTH MODIFYING THESE MOTORS WITHOUT BOOST.
