Exclamation MK3 Idiling Problems and More

Alrighty guys, I have a 86.5' MK3. It has a really bad idleing problems, im thinking its something to do with the spark plugs, maybe one of them isnt firing. But im not sure...Another problem i having is with the cam gear. It keeps coming lose, and one time it got really bad and starting to cause the engine to go off timing, and the car would do more then 30mph, while it was floored. , does anyone know a way to tighten back up the cam gear with-out having to take apart the whole cam gear assembly? And today, i got in it and it isnt wanting to pick up at all out of a low RPm, in any gear. Until like 3k plus, then it would pick up a little more like normal. But anyone that might give me some ideas on what might be wrong, would be cool. Thanks

Your timing is fucked and so your car is running like shit. Fix your can gear, dont be a pussy and take off the assembly. Check your plugs and wires to.
