well because you have an 87 your gonna need either custum motor mounts or find a 90 and up supra at the junkyard and take the cross member with the round mounts. as of transmission u can use the r154 thats in your car assuming you have a turbo supra and thats just the basics your gonna run into a lot more problems than that. if your looking to make less than 600hp than your better off going with a 1j swap is much easier and cheaper to do than a 2j. also wether u go with 2j or 1j your going to need one that comes with a rear sump oil pan

An R154 bolts right up, but what exactly do you want to do with it? A 2J has higher potential for power but the swap can cost upwards of twice as much as a 1J swap. If you wanna drift I'd say go with a 1J, they rev to the moon and beyond

i would also reccomend a 1jz. but the motor mounts can be sourced from bicperformance.com and the r154 does NOT bolt right up, neither does the W58. your going to need a JZ/W or JZ/R bellhousing. driftmotion (.com) sells them for about 250 i belive (new) otherwise you'd need a 1jz soarer or supra bell for hte r154, or if you have a W then you''d need one from an IS, SC, or NA mk4

your also going to need a mk4 throttle cable, a mk4 power steering line, if your goin with a 1jz (in which case you must buy a supra one or it will cost you much more in the long run) you'll need E fans and a water pump off another jz series motor.

soarer oil pans and pickkups do not work. feel free to call us at 352-816-2407 if you have any other issues

Negative, The r154 wont bolt right up. 2jz's, and 1jz's are almost exactly identical, just that one is missing a half liter.
