Default my ae86 build up

not sure if i posted this here or not. some old school people around tampa will remember this car

so yeah, i've had this car for alomst 10 years and haven't really done anything to it. well it has springs/ shocks, and some minor brake upgrades, but thats about it. plans are for a really clean/show/weekend driver, maybe a track day or 2 (grip only).

soon to be ae92 4agze. all i want is about 170-180 whp
rebuilt t50 and stock diff
and full suspension

but body work has been the focus for now. i have some cool jdm stuff already.

jdm kouki trueno bumpers front and rear with lights, brakets, grill, emblems, everything.
jdm kouki coupe red line tail lights
real jdm gtv stickers for the doors. (they don't make the usdm gt-s stickers and this is all i could find that was a real toyota part.

i still have to find a nice set of factory toyota side skirts and some trueno mud flaps. and ofcorse wheels

here are some crappy cell phone pics of the parts not in storage. more to come
new kicks!!!!!!!!!!!!! 16x7 0

carbon trunk lip

jdm coupe tails

full battleversion stuffeses

3.9 r@p

stuff still not pictured: old school recaro seat with bride rail, full jdm kouki bumpers

here are some pics of how the car was before i started on it:

just some updates. pulled the motor and everything out of the engien bay for paint. and started reassembling a high comp blue top i had built along time ago and never finished.

spec's on the motor are:

40 over weisco 12to1 forged pistons
arp main studs
arp rod bolts
shot peened, resized, and balanced stock rods
line hone, decked block and head
trd valve springs
5 angle valve job
TRD or HKS cams (not sure yet) of the 304/292 varitey
shimless buckets
20v ITB's
stand alone
trd header
lots of T3 stuff

well the bottom end is assembled, once everything is cleaned and painted we can start putting everything else on.

small update, the cars all one color again. the engine bay is done so i can take the car to my dads shop so i can put the motor in it and get it running. this is just a base coat in red. the final color will be mazdaspeed miata velocity red. once the car is done and running i can drive it to a booth and finish painting it.

What are you using to convert to shimless? 1SZFE? Whats the spring pressure/max lift on TRD springs? I was looking for the 288-304 range and realy like the ferrera springs.
