ok, so im new to toyotas period. All i really know is 240s and a bit of hondas. I just got my first ae86 corolla. Its an SR5 model, and its 4ac motor is horribly underpowered. i have been doing research on other forums, mostly club4ag, but am looking for some answers.

Where is a good place to find a 4age motor, also where is a good place to find a gt-s rear end? what should i do first? its not a daily driver, so it can be immobilized for as long as it needs to be. give me some ideas on what to do with my hachi.

go 1.8 wit holy 4 barrel carb 315 schenider cam datsun 210 rear end celica tranny from 78 need 2 cut the bell housing for the starter cut head 40 over 5 angle port, and eagle rods wiseco pistons, and 80 crank and you got a beast lol my setup or 4age turbo they in orlando everywhea i got 1 in my mr2 for the rite price

when he said 1.8 he means 3tc motor! to find out about those you can check out 3tcgarage.com ...the 4ag is ok but 3tc is a little cheaper to build

 

yezzir i got the 3tc in my 81 corolla and 4ag in my mr2 which i am lookin for parts for the car

 

you can even go 20valve 4ag and put gts rear and wit busa itbs tuned and have a shit load of power! itbs on a 4ag wit velocity stacks is like making sex 2 a super model thats how bad it is i had a set on my 82 wagon 4ag and it moved like it was on crack
