Thumbs up lexus sc400 stalling issue (AUTO)

The car drives fine for awhile then starts to choke as if no gas or power is getting to it. put the car in neutral an shut it down for 1min then start it back up an put it on drive then its fine for a while again pls help THANKS TR

Has this been an issue for the sc bro.I just bought the car too. Drove it back an this crap happens. I'll check it out...Thanks for you help

o sorry

tps is an abbreviation for throttle positioning sensor

on my gs300 i've had numerous problems with it, my neighbor has had problems with his gs430's as well. it's a fairly cheap little part if i recall correctly, but you should get a code for it if it's going bad if i also recall that correctly

Thanks man I'll check it out.. I hope I didnt buy a lemon. when the car doesn't bogg it run's like a champ the v8 sounds nasty!! I'm trying to make it run normal then slap a twin turbo setup or something LOL!!!!!!!!! Well see. Thanks tho

If yes what is the code?

in the dia. port under the hood, put a jumper wire from b+ to FP. this will tell you if it is the fuel pump or the fp ecu.
