if you need a haynes manual or something along those lines you dont need to be the one rebuilding the engine.

Got to techinfo.toyota.com and download the service manual. It kills Chilton's or Haynes. This is the genuine manual that the mechanic shop uses. It costs $10 for 24 hours of use and you can download everything in around 3 hours. It's a pain in the butt because you have to download each chapter seperately but it's worth it. I had to take the head off my SC and it was a lifesaver.

you can download the pdf and get kinkos to print it for you...but you have to look for it...do a search for mr2 bgb pdf

YO WHATS UP I HAVE COME INTO SOME UNFORTUNATE TROUBLE
I HAVE A 1991 TOYOTA MR2. THAT I JUST PICKED UP, COMES TO FIND OUT ABOUT 100 MILES DOWN THE ROAD THE MOTOR BLOWS.
I HAVE BEEN DESPARATLY TRYING TO FIND A HANES MANUAL. AND I COME TO FIND OUT THAT THE DAMN THING DOES NOT WANT TO BE FOUND I HAVE CONTACTED TOYOTA DEALERSHIPS THEY SAY SORRY THATS NOT A PART THAT WE CAN SPECAIL ORDER. I HAVE CALLED BAY AREA IMPORTS SAME SONG, IF ANY BODY THAT COMES ACROSS THIS THREAD THAT CAN LEND A HELPING HAND I WOULD GREATLY APPRICIATE IT. ALSO IF ANYONE KNOWS OF I PLACE FOR PROFORMANCE UPGRADES FOR THE MR2 I GREATLY INJOY THE KNOWING OF SUCH PLACE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
