well, got some really rare hard to find stuff, soooooooo, ill be running a 6m with ~10:1 compression, trimil header modified with 3in collector and 3in exhaust and 3 40mm dcoe weber carbs. heres some mock up pics on the engine. still need to clean everything up and media blast the parts and clearcoat them etc... i didnt bother installing the linkages as its just mockup to take measurements. the rear cam mount ignition will clear the firewall, just barely, and the power booster and master cylinder will be swapped for mk3 units as the rear velocity stack would hit the stock power booster. these parts as best me and dave a. can tell appear to possibly be from an old hks race car. some custom mods were done even to the parts that i thought were commercial items.

BTW, I have a spare 5M head, intake, and exhaust manifold with some factory junk attached if you need it.

what vents are you talking about? if you mean the black xx vents, they go on the rear of the car in place of the red marker lights. the curved part goes up so no water gets into the quarter panel. helps ventilate the cabin.

and the xx badges i got 1 set from a guy in oz, and the other i traded a mint set of celicasupra badges to a guy that was here from overseas. he was on vac in texas from the netherlands as i recall. i mailed him mine and he mailed me the xx's. got the rear marker vents from oz as well. and the 5 lug rear stubs i had sold awhile back, and the 3.0gt badge and i beleive the 3.0 turbo badge that i have for my 84 came from there as well. ive gotten a bunch of parts from people in oz

 

well was at the junkyard and found a mint 78 cressida. thing looked sweet. even the interior was mint. cant beleive it was in there. just a small dent on one of the pass doors. and i mean small. paint was mint otherwise. an obvious garage kept beauty. anyhow. since they wont sell cars one they are in the yard, it had a 4me with mechanical fuel pump. soooooo, i grabbed the pump. heres some pics after i cleaned it up. its bigger then i thought it would be. im wondering how much volume this thing can pump. if it wont work ill hollow it out and use it as a dummy pump so people think it is feeding the carbs anyway. lol. and hoepfully i can get it polished up real nice.
