2000 celica GT problem
Hello I have a 2000 celica GT auto trans with a 1zzfe, today i went out to start my car and the EFI relay was buzzing when the car was on.So I poped the hood and found a ground by the OCV for the vvt-i came off ,the ground runs from the head to the fender. So I hooked it back up the buzzing from the relay stoped and I hear the starter kicking over but its not starting on top of that the ground started to smoke....... any ideas???

Find a better ground point that is why the smoke was coming from it. That or clean that area off. There was probably corrosion in the threaded hole. You might have another ground that is not bolted down because that one ground that is smoking shouldn't be the only ground point. Are any of the relays shot? Voltage going threw the circuit could have burned it out. if you have a similar one liek a defrost put it in the same spot. Check your fuses to make sure all of the power feeds are good. If you need help futher more PM me a phone # I can help you out.
