Default 1995 Lexus SC300 NA-T tuning help needed....

I'm posting to see if anyone is familiar enough with a NA-T setup on my sc300. If you have done one of these kit installs or know a lot about the 2jz then lemme know.

When I first start my car it will run like complete crap until it is warmed up. The tuning isn't hooked up at all right now. Also when i did have the tuning hooked up I never got it to do any major changes. The tuning Im using is the AEM FIC.

Let me know what you guys know! Willing to meet anywhere with my car in the Tampa area or w/e just wanna see my car run right....

Give a little more info and maybe we can help. That size injectors did you go with? What A/F metering are you using, MAF or MAP? What size turbo? Auto or manual? What else was done during the install?
Are you sure the AEM FIC is installed correctly? The FIC doesn't work with the Karman Vortex MAF well. You have to hook it up to a fairly stock car and run it at different RPM's and loads for a period of time to log data points for reference in order to create a MAF simulation table that will keep you A/F ratio correct once the car is switch over to turbo. Look on the AEM forum and go under MAF Simulation, this may be some help.
Ultimately, I don't think the FIC is probably the best management device for your application.
There are other better tested and suited engine management devices like the AEM ECU, MAP ECU, S-AFC, HKS S-AFR, VPC-AFC combo, etc...

I have the Sc400 V8 Maf, the turbo XS kit with the T61 turbo. My injectors are stock for now and everything is stock other then the turbo kit, but I have to fix this problem before I start tuning for power. My idle is crappy my cold starts are crappy and if I cruise on the road at a constant speed and dont havce my foot on the gas it feels like a hit a brick wall untill i put my foot back on the gas...

Ok, 1st thing. Running the V8 MAF with the stock injectors is causing a severly lean condition. I'm surprised you haven't burt it up if your driving it that way. The V8 MAF flows 25% more air than the SC300 MAF if you don't upgrade the injectors at the same time your ECU isn't going to know it's flowing that much more air and still provide the same amount of fuel. Thus causing it to be lean. Switch the MAF back and it'll probably run alot better.
Let me know if this fixes some things.
