Default Chevy 454 in mk3 supra

Hey tr, im thinking about swaping my chevy 454 into my mk3 supra, i have seen alot of 350's but never a bbc. If anyone has any info on the 350 swap, a/t or manual trans, and mounts. That would be great. just for a guide line to start with, thanks alot and ill post pics of the progress!!!

you will barely have enough room to shoehorn a 350 let alone a big block. i was about to pull a 500ci from a early 70s caddy for my mk3 before i realized the exhaust would have to go right through the fender well just in front of the door. it kinda took away from the sleeper look plus the weight would have annihilated the entire front suspension. there has been success with LS series GM motors which is what i got sitting in my shed. here's a link to a build i have been following for a very long time. plus if you actually get a LS1/2/6 as opposed to the much cheaper abundant and stronger LM7/LQ4/LQ9 you would have a close to or better stock weight distribution.

Ok so i pulled the 454 out today and found out its a hell of a lot bigger than i thought. My friend is telling me not to attempt the swap and to sell the shell as is... Any one want a nice 88 mk3 supra shell b4 i hack it to bits for this swap? 1k will take it. super clean!!!

How about you not sell the shell and sell the motor instead. Put a 1uz in the supra. I have one in mine now nearing completion. My other buddy had one is his and it was sick. He is building the motor up now so he can get more HP out of it. Sick nasty all I have to say.
